On Friday the whole school attended World Of Maths it was an incursion in the hall.
I enjoyed doing problem solving and working in a group.
On Friday the two year 5/6 classes went to the hall to do World Of Maths. I liked the problem solving and the many different possibilities you get in just one puzzle.
On Friday 5/6S and 5/6O went to the hall to have the world of maths.
There were lots of activities from normal maths to problem solving I enjoyed it lots but it was very challenging.
On Friday we went to the world of maths incursion in the hall, we teamed up with our friends to do a range of activities like mind blowing problem solving activities to simple counting activities, it was all great fun and we all enjoyed it.
On Friday 5/6S and 5/6O went into the hall to do an activity called World of Maths. Geraldine the person who set up the activities told us how maths is used that much in our daily lives that we don’t even notice it…… Imagine that!!! She then told us the rules, to be careful, to have fun and let us go. It was a fun day I really liked it.
On Friday our school had Geraldine come to our hall and hold ‘World of Maths’, she set up some maths games for us to work out in groups of two or three. She went through all the activities at the end to see if we understood them .It was really fun and they also improved our team-work.
Every Thursday we have dance, our teacher (Les) has taught us the Cha-Cha and the Waltz. Grade 5/6S and 5/6O are doing dance to learn RESPECT and to get along with everyone. I think we have all enjoyed dancing.
Every Thursday during term 3 our two 5/6 classes will have dance with Les. So far we have learnt the Waltz and the Cha-Cha. We are dancing to learn how to respect people and get along. It is also fun to dance with our friends.
On Thursday both 5/6 grades came together for dancing lessons with Les. We did the Waltz and the Cha-Cha for our first lesson. Dancing is teaching us getting along and respect. I thought it was great fun.
On Thursday the 5/6s Waltzed into their first dance lesson with Les. First we sat and listened to Les tell us a story about how he battled fierce tigers with his bare hands!!!!!!! (not really……) Next the boys got up and stood in a circle while the girls picked out a boy, when we were ready Les explained what to do and then hit the music!!!!!! We waltzed for a while then we did the Cha-Cha. I think it was splendid.
Every Thursday the 5/6s will go over to the hall to do dance, every boy has to hold every girls hand. We did a dance called the Cha-Cha.
While we were at dance Les told us a story about a boy who said he would NOT dance with a girl…….but after losing a bet with Les he did end up dancing. We do dancing to learn how to get along with boys and girls.
