Friday 23rd of May saw children from grades 3 to 6 travel to Woodleigh Senior Campus to compete in the annual District Cross Country.

The children were fantastic giving their all in the races they ran, helping our school come 3rd in the junior section,  2nd in the senior section and 2nd overall in our division.  We had 2 children make it through to zone which will be held in a couple of weeks at Casey Fields….

ü Mathew Lanarus – 10 year old boys received a 2nd place medal

ü Liam Peile finished 5th

Congratulations again to all the children that competed. A job well done

HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY

IMG_3363 IMG_3387 On Friday the 9th May our school held its House Cross Country.  The children from grades 3,4,5 & 6 belonging to the  four competitive teams Ashleigh, Beach, Frawley and Mena all got together and ran around the school.  The twelve year olds ran first, then elevens, then tens and so on.

The eleven and twelve year olds ran two laps of the school and the rest only had to run one lap.

At the end of the day Beach house won, but it was a close contest………
