ANZAC Day

On the 24th of April the whole school went to a special Ceremony in the hall to lay wreaths and remember the brave soldiers who fought and died for us.

Students from all across the school told us what A.N.Z.A.C day means to them. After that we all listened to the Ode and listened to Julia who read out In Flanders Field to us.

We then listened to the last post that traditionally marked the end of the working day after that Mrs Heeney laid one wreath for the staff then Ben and Chloe laid one for the students in our school followed by Alyssa and Stephanie singing the Australian National Anthem.
